Coyotes

Since the reintroduction of the wolf into YNP the coyote population has fallen quite dramatically as they are no longer "top dog." On the other hand, this has helped the red fox numbers grow.

Shortly after photographing the Pica at Sheep Eater Cliff I saw something off to my right side. I looked and saw the animal in the next three photos...a red coyote. What an unusual sight.
